22:55 More on Nathaniel's movements. We try to do what the PT showed us. So, this morning, I started with ankle movements. I started with his right foot, saying "flex, point" while moving his foot. Then I went to his left foot to do the same. As I said flex and point and moved his left foot, he moved his right foot as appropriate. (I needed to help him move his left foot.) Even the nurse saw it! Incredible since the doctors initially thought that he would be paralyzed on his right side! Keep believing in miracles!

00:12 This evening there was a wedding in the ICU. The grandma in the room next to Nathaniel took a turn for the worse. The granddaughter, who had planned to get married in June, moved up the date and planned a wedding in an hour. Why am I writing this? Because when Nathaniel heard the singing, his pulse jumped. The nurse came to find me so that I could tell Nathaniel what was going on. As I was telling him about the wedding in the next room, I also told him that we would dance at HIS wedding. It was so powerful to realize that Nathaniel could have a future and hopefully get married.

22:55 יותר על התנועות של נתנאל. מנסים לעשות את מה שהפיזיותרפיסטית אמרה. אז הבוקר התחלתי עם תנועות בקרסוליים. התחלתי עם רגל ימין ואמרתי "לכווץ, למתוח" בזמן שהזזתי את הרגל שלו. עברתי לרגל שמאל לעשות אותו דבר וכשאמרתי לכווץ ולמתוח, הוא הזיז את רגל ימין בכוחות עצמו (הייתי צריכה לעזור לו עם רגל שמאל). אפילו האחיות ראו את זה! מדהים כי בהתחלה, הרופאים חשבו שהוא יהיה משותק בצד ימין.

00:12 הערב הייתה חתונה בטיפול נמרץ. המצב של סבתא בחדר ליד נתנאל נהיה קשה מאוד. הנכדה שתכננה להתחתן ביוני החליטה להקדים את התאריך ואירגנה חתונה תוך שעה. למה אני כותבת את זה? כי כשנתנאל שמע את השירים, הדופק שלו קפץ. האחות באה למצוא אותי שאוכל להגיד לנתנאל מה קורה בחדר ליד. כשדיברתי איתו על החתונה, אמרתי שנרקוד גם בחתונה שלו. היה מרגש מאוד להבין שיש סיכוי שיהיה לו עתיד ואפילו גם חתונה.
