Nathaniel was at his physical therapy gym and even with weights strapped to his ankle, he was able to lift his right leg a bit. The coach was amazed and brought everyone over to see the amazing improvement.

We were working on giving Nathaniel his medicines, but it is challenging. For now, we are giving his morning medicines via the PEG, but we will keep experimenting with swallowing pills and capsules of different sizes and shapes. We are also doing tongue and mouth exercises.

Nathaniel is increasingly able to let us know his preferences when we ask. Sometimes his responses are not what we expect. It is good that he is getting and doing what he wants rather than what we decide for him.

His rabbi came over to record him saying various blessings on the iPad. Now, when Nathaniel wants to say a blessing, he will choose which one and hear a familiar voice saying it. It's better to hear a familiar voice than a recording of some random person.
