Today the caretaker and I were singing to Nathaniel. We invited him to join. He actually, for the first time that I know, made a verbal noise. It was just one note and he didn't do it again, but it's a great start
We were playing with a deck of cards. I showed him an 8 and a 3. I asked him which was higher. He pointed to the 8. I did it a few more times with other numbers and he got it. I made it even harder and showed a number and a jack. He knew the jack was higher.
Joe was with him a few days ago, and when he was trying to move Nathaniel's right leg, he's pretty sure he felt Nathaniel help him move the leg.
I could have written this at any point since this blog was started, but I'll just take this opportunity to say something that I've been feeling for a long time, which is that I am simply in awe of how hard the three of you have been working every single day to make these amazing moments of progress possible.
May Hashem grant you all the strength to continue on this incredible path to recovery, and grant that recovery speedily!
We continue to pray for Nathaniel every day!! Friends in Texas, USA
