Nathaniel continues to improve all the time. He seems to smile more as well.

We put a ball into his right hand and told him to throw it. His right hand doesn't work well yet. He thought for a bit and then used his left hand to lift the right one to throw the ball. It was interesting that he thought about how to compensate for what was hard for him. With his left hand, he is getting stronger at throwing a ball.

He continues to advance in music therapy. He tapped on the tambourine to the beat of the music. He tapped with enough force to actually make noise.

He is sometimes able to answer questions with numbers up to five, like how many matriarchs, how many patriarchs, how many books in the Torah. He still has trouble with computations.

He has had lots of friends visit, which is good for him. The social interaction is important for his rehabilitation.

We have an appointment next week with the surgeons in Jerusalem to discuss the next steps toward the cranioplasty. I hope he won't have to have more skin expansions because they are painful for him.
