On Wednesday, there was a very nice Purim party with Megillah reading, food, and music. It was loud and I asked Nathaniel to blink his eyes if it was too loud. Nothing. I then asked if he liked the music. He blinked. Later he looked a bit tired. I asked if he wanted to go back. He opened his eyes to look a bit more awake. So, he stayed at the party.

On Thursday, a doctor-friend came to visit. He saw that Nathaniel moves his left toes. He asked Nathaniel to move both feet. After a delay of a few seconds, he moved both feet.

Nathaniel's rehab doctor requested a CT of his breathing tube because they thought something wasn't okay.

He went to the ENT to have the cannula (the device in the hole in his neck after the tracheostomy) changed. Everything below the cannula is fine, but he may need surgery to fix problems higher up in his throat, which were probably caused by the cannula.

Judi, you do not know me. I am someone in Texas, USA that heard about Netaniel. A friend of a friend in Israel. Many of us have prayed for this young soldier daily since the accident. We are coming to Israel for a visit April 3-19. I know that one of those days towards the end will be a leisure day and I was wondering If several of us could come meet you? Nothing more than to put a face to the texts you provide. We would never ask to see Netaniel unless you offered. I don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable. We will wait for your response and as always ...we continue to pray for you all.
