Nathaniel goes to hydrotherapy weekly. While he was on vacation, he was in the swimming pool with his aides and practiced some of the swim moves he does in therapy. I sent videos from the vacation to my favorite swim instructor (not directly involved in Nathaniel's therapy), and she was impressed with his strokes and his ability to push off from the wall. His swimming is really improving. Next, we will work on floating without the use of floatation devices.

 

We got the results of the blood tests regarding osteoporosis. At this point, the doctor said to keep practicing standing with assistance, increase Vitamin D levels, and go for a recheck next year. Yeah! No extra medications needed at this point.

 

Nathaniel continues to make new friends. Even though he can't speak yet, his friendly personality is evident.
