Nathaniel loves to be with friends. He advances so much when he is with people. Therapists are teaching some of his friends how to interact with him even more. One of Nathaniel’s friends came over to be with him during the holiday. They sang together! The friend started to sing and then waited for Nathaniel to sing the last syllable of the song. Nathaniel did so successfully many times.

 

Nathaniel is starting to offer his own answers to questions and to independently add his own thoughts. He can do more than just parrot back the answer. Based on this new development, Nathaniel is going to start preparing short Torah lessons to share with everyone on Shabbat.

 

I asked Nathaniel to sit up straight. He sat up straight and then saluted her like a soldier. He was teasing me that I was like an army officer telling his soldier to stand up straight.
